Geocentric Conjunction – Objects are in Geocentric Conjunction, or Planetary Conjunction, if they appear very close to each other as viewed from Earth. There is no strict definition of how close the objects need to be in order to be considered in conjunction, but generally include objects less than 10 degrees apart as measured in right ascension and declination.
