Surrounded by the eastern hemlocks and wild mushrooms of the northern Appalachian foothills, nature commands respect – lest its temper be provoked. This region is called the Wilds, and it lives up to its name. At the gateway between the scorching, humid summer heat and the snow covered northern forests stands a realm where the deep woods encroaches and ancient trees block out the sunlight.
Wild Hemlock aims to bring that spirit of natural immersion everywhere, to create remembrance of the wild places in the world. Living Wild is studying nature and using its knowledge to live our lives.
