After the excitement of the NEOWISE Comet, August brings us a meteor shower encore. Most notably, the Perseid Meteor Shower will be at its peak during the early mornings of August 11th – 13th, but will be viewable for the week before and after. According to EarthSky, waiting a few days until the Last Quarter Moon waxes may make the meteors easier to see. That’s not all! August is packed with great astrophotography opportunities.
